What Home Means to Me

The meaning of home to me means spending time with my family and my pets. I have a fun and great times everyday, spreading joy, love and happiness all around the house. I can’t even think about what it’s like not having a home to live in. Every single day I wake up in a great house, I walk downstairs and see most of my family but some of them are still asleep. I say good morning to everyone and go sit on the couch. Then we all watch some tv, and then at the end of the day we have dinner and sometimes watch a movie after. Home is an enjoyable, happy place where you can laugh, live, learn. It's a place where you are loved, respected, cared for. It's a place where you can be yourself. A home is a place where you can make memories, It’s a safe place to be in. It’s a place where you can go to if you need help, it’s a place where you can sleep in a bed, it’s a place where you can invite your friends to come over, It's a place where you can have privacy. A house isn't always a 4 sided house with a roof - it can be a tent, a cave home, a yurt home, an underground home, a igloo, a honai, a hanok anyone of those homes are a great place to live in. Homes can be anywhere on land whether it’s Canada, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, USA. Everyone that has a home to live in should be grateful for it. And everyone deserves a home to live in.
