What Home Means to Me
What home means to me. Today I am going to tell you about how I feel about my awesome home and what makes me feel at home. Let me explain what home means to me.
I love my bed. I can sleep in it, rest in it and sit on it. My bed is warm when I go to sleep. It makes me feel really nice and cozy when I go to sleep. I can play games while lying down on it. I can play a mobile game, or maybe even a board game! I can even jump on it and have lots of fun! My bed makes me feel at home.
I like the dining room table. At the dining room table I can eat, talk and even play games! I can talk with my mom there. I can tell her what I did at school and ask what she did at work. I can eat very yummy food there. I can eat dinner, lunch, breakfast and so on. Sometimes I can play board or card games on the dining room table. I can play battleship, gin rummy, blokus and much more games. Sometimes I'll even play on my Ipad there. I like the dining room table and it makes me feel at home.
I also love my Ipad. I can set up lots of playdates on my Ipad. Let’s say it’s 4:00PM and I want to go to a friend's house, I could just text them then see if they're free. Also I can play fun online games with my friends. I can call them then play games with them. On the Ipad you can also do lots of school work like I’m doing right now. I can go to google classroom, check what assignments you have, then finish them up. Last but not least you can find useful ideas on the internet on the Ipad. Like find a story, or see what a score is of a hockey game. That’s why I like my Ipad so much and it makes me feel at home.
In my home there's a lot of happiness. When I talk I am always joyful and happy. I have lots of fun and always help my family members. When my family plays games we are competing but we still are always nice to each other. In my family we are always open to suggestions and stop something to help the other. We comfort each other and let each other speak. It lets us feel alive. It makes me very happy I can share all my thoughts and ideas. That’s why happiness makes me feel at home.
In my home there is also a lot of laughter. When my family watches a movie or something together we laugh a lot. Sometimes I laugh so hard that I fall off the couch! Sometimes we laugh when nothing is funny. For example, one year at school we did laughing yoga, which made me have the idea to do it at home. What happens is someone randomly starts laughing, then the laughing is so funny that another person laughs. In my house there is lots of laughter and that makes me feel at home.
In summary, my Ipad, bed, dining room table, happiness and laughter all feel like home to me. Home is a place where I can share thoughts, have fun and feel alive. I’m sure I’ll have another home someday, but it will still have the same kind of great qualities. That’s what makes me love my home.
