The Meaning of Home
In my opinion, home is a place where it's safe and comfortable. At home, my family and I have the best memories. It’s where I work on my projects, sleep on my bed, and play with family. Home is a place where my soul and life are centered.
Home is a place I’m protected from external forces, such as the bombardment of rain, the roaring wind, and the chilly, dark night. A home is where I’m not affected by the heat of the yellow sun, or the clouds of pure snow; home is where I’m affected by the internal heat of holidays, laughter, friends, and a family that cares for me. This internal heat will always burn. It will fuel your energy and spirits, not burn it. Internal heat is not the raging fire, but the calming summer sun. Home is no more than a place of peace and hope.
A house can be shattered into glass, steel, and wood, as easily as jumping on a trampoline, but a home can never be shattered. This is because a home is made from love and happiness, and love and happiness is made when you're with your family.
