My Gorgeous Home

My home looks like an amazing place, where anything is possible. It looks like a beautiful neighbourhood filled with the kindest neighbours. It looks like my hilarious dad chasing my brother and I when we’re playing tag. When I'm it, I chase them so fast as if I was in a race with a cheetah! My home tastes like the delicious pasta my brother and I help make with my amazing mom. It tastes like the homemade smoothies my dad makes, with all of my favourite fruits, such as mangos, berries and more. My home smells like the gorgeous lilies and tulips my parents plant in the summer. They’re as colourful as rainbows. I water them every day, so they can become even more beautiful than they already are. Whenever I touch them, I try to be as careful as possible, since they’re as fragile as glass. My home sounds like my dad waking me up at 7 am in the morning for school. It sounds like my family singing “happy birthday” to me on my birthday. It feels a bit awkward, but I love it! It sounds like the laughter of my family when we’re watching any comedy movie. Spending time with my family is as comforting as sleeping on a large, soft, and lumpy pillow. My home feels like a strong shield that protects me from everything harmful, and the shield is made out of all the love my family gives me. In my home, I can feel confident, because I know that my family will happily support me in everything. Wherever I live, whether it be a house, apartment, or anything, as long as my family is there, it’s home.
