Home

To me, home is much more than just a house. It’s a place where I learn, grow, and make memories. My home means a lot to me. It’s where my family and I are together, and where I can be myself. Without the people in a house, a home would have no meaning. Home doesn’t even have to be a building. It could be a place like your neighborhood, or it could be a feeling, like the love from your friends and family. A home should be a happy and safe place. At my home, me and my family like to play games and watch movies, because that is what we enjoy doing together, and that’s what brings us happiness. Whether i’m at school, in the car, or on vacation, my home will always be with me, because home is wherever me and my family are together. I am very thankful that I live in a safe environment, because some people from other countries do not have a safe place to live. It makes me sad that they might never have a good home, or experience the happiness and comfort that I have. Home means so much to me and my family, and we are very glad to live here in Canada. That’s what home means to me, and I hope that many more families will have a safe place to live from the money we’ve raised through Homes for Humanity.
