One thing I like about my home is that I am loved. I know that my family loves me and that helps me get through the day. Being with my Dad makes me feel safe. He is strong and hardworking and I want to be like him when I am older. Home is where my Mom and Dad are. They are great examples to me and my siblings and we are all very close. Our pets also love me and I think it's fun to race our puppies down the trail in the woods or to play with my fat cat Aslan. It's fun to sit outside beside Ophelia, our other cat, as she does her morning stretches. My house feels safe and comfortable. My bedroom is a nice place to be. I like the quiet that can be found there. I can read, sleep, play or do many other things. I also feel safe when I know that I can have food whenever I need it, and that I will not starve. This is something I shouldn't take for granted. At home I feel creative. I feel free to use my time as I want. I enjoy playing our piano and organ and can think, write and do many other things that encourage my creativity. When I think think of my house, I can't leave out the adventures it brings. We have a forest beside our house where there is lots of space in it to ride our gator, build forts and open spaces to play soccer. I love my home. It's where I feel safe, loved, creative and is just the place I need to have adventures. I would like everyone's home to make them feel this way. It is important to help others build homes where they can live and feel the same way as I do.
