What Home Means to Me
What is home? Home is where you can be yourself, make memories, build a future, and it's also a safe place. Sometimes at home not everything is perfect, such as having an argument and/or fighting with your siblings or parents, getting yelled at or maybe even having a family member mad at you. This may make you sad and lonely, but always remember in the end your family loves you and won't ever trade you for anything. Family is an important relationship to keep good and healthy because if you're coming home from having a bad school day, you know your family is there and you are open to them, which makes you closer to everyone.
What home means to me is keeping a good relationship with everyone in my family because if I come home from a stressed day, I would want them to be there for me and make sure I'm not going though it alone. I would also like comfort from them while I am sad. Home to me also means where I can be my real self like being goofy with my sister or just being silly with my dad. If I get in trouble, I also try to remember that everyone still loves me, and this is just to make sure I don’t repeat what I did to get myself in trouble. Home to me means where I can make the most of my great and worst memories with my sister and parents. Home is somewhere I can be with my pet bird, Kiwi, my friends, and my family making our best memories.
My all-time favourite memory of my family would be playing Monopoly and a bunch of other games with everyone, making food together, and watching movies.
