The Beauty of a Home

A home, something that I and you see every day. But what makes a house a home? Sometimes a home can be a place where you feel safe or where you are together with someone. Wherever that is, everyone needs a place to call home and here's why! What is a house? Well, it is simply just a place with nothing special about it. A house means nothing to you. But a home is a special place. It is warm, has a special place in your heart and can be anywhere. A home is a place to spend happy and sad days, throw parties and spend time with those you love the most. A place where I feel welcome is in my home! In my home, my family and friends share memories. My home is where I feel safe and loved. I also feel at home outside of the home. For example, I feel at home at my grandparents' house. At their house, I feel the happiness in the air. I am so grateful knowing I have a roof over my head, food on the table and a loving family to take care of me. In your home, you probably have something special to you. It could be jewelry or something a friend gave. Either way, it’s in your home and it’s important. Everyone deserves a home because of the special things in it. In your home, you can express yourself and be your true self. Having a place of your own to call home is one of the best feelings. Having somewhere to be safe and being yourself can be a happy feeling to you. Wherever your home is, it’s important to know you are loved, valued and cherished by those in your home.
