Not just a building

Home, what is home? To me home is not just a building, home is where I can eat authentic homecooked Syrian meals. Home is where I can watch anime with my sister, Hunter x Hunter, Haikyuu, Demonslayer you name it. In my basement is where my friends and I meet up and make some hilarious videos. In my basement is where I play with my little brother all day. In the basement is where I fold my laundry with my mom. In my bedroom, I can cuddle with my cat. In my bedroom is where I and my sister play video games together. In my bedroom is where I can call my friends. In my bedroom, I can have my very own space. In my bedroom, I can listen to music. In my bedroom is where I regain my energy after a tough day. In my backyard, is where I play tag. In the backyard, is where I dance. In my kitchen is where I cook. In my living room is where I talk, with my family and friends. Home isn’t just a building, at home is where I have grown. At home is where I feel safe the most. At home I’m never alone, I always have someone to bond with. Home is where the people I love most are. Home is where you're welcome no matter what race or gender! Everyone deserves a loving and welcoming home, A place where they can create memories they can cherish forever. A place where they can feel safe.
