My Home

Home is a place where I feel comfortable and safe. I can be myself and I can express my feelings. Home is important to me because it is where I have family, love and positivity. Home is where I can make memories and have fun with very simple things. I feel lots of new memories coming my way in my home and I hope to create more as I grow into a wonderful person. I feel like my home has a door that is always open, for friends and family to feel welcome and safe. In my home I have warmth, love and safety. I can always look forward to hearing laughter every day. I can be myself in my home and around the people that surround me. My parents and brother are so supportive of what I do and who I truly am. I always feel comfortable at my home and am so grateful that I even have a home because some people don’t and they deserve better. That is why I love Habitat for Humanity because they give people what they deserve. I feel so grateful to have a family, food, water and a roof over my head because it keeps me safe and healthy. That is what home means to me!
