A Place That Feels Like Home
My home is a place, nice and neat
Where I can be on my own two feet
It’s safe and warm and filled with love
We fit together like hand in glove
My house in the city is spread over four floors
And the back garden invites you outdoors
Especially in the spring when the garden’s in bloom
It warms my heart and I feel no gloom
It has a nice view, and is where I heal from the flu
It’s where I store my food, and it gives me a good mood
Home is a place where I play - my cozy spot to stay
It’s where I have no shame, and where I like to stay the same
Home is also where I grow and watch the tall willow
A place of old memories that blend into one
Where we make new memories, and have lots of fun
We are my home’s only friend, before it was lonely
But now it's on the mend
It’s a place that feels like home
