I am From

I am from a small but beautiful country called the Philippines. It is very hot there, and the sun shines like fire! The wind dances with the clouds where mountains reach for the sky. Yummy fruits and vegetables grow from the ground! Lots of storms, like typhoons, roam at night. There are still 12 months, but when it is December or January it will not snow. The weather will just get cold and it will start to get very windy. In the Philippines there are only 2 seasons, they are summer and fall. My home is in a small village called Bulacan where my family grows trees and has big parties on special occasions like Birthdays and New year’s. We take care of our house so it can look proper and nice when people come to visit. We sing Filipino songs or Korean songs outside when the weather is good. We sometimes sing loud so that the neighbors can hear! And sometimes we sing in a low tone so that no one can hear. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba. During the 12 months of the year in Winnipeg we experience the 4 seasons! I love to play in the snow when it is winter, and dance with the leaves in fall and spring, and run free in the summer! There are lots of forests, animals and lots of plants. We are a peaceful province. In Manitoba, I love to explore the parks or other new places. I sing different songs, and dance when it is “Festival du voyageur” day! We are respectful, kind ,loving and caring to other people. I moved here to Winnipeg from the Philippines with my family. I've been living in Winnipeg for 5 years now. I am from école Belmont. My classroom is salle 13. I go to a French immersion school. I love to learn and play. My two awesome teachers are Mme Gibson and Mme Davenport. We learn lots of French, we present projects like art and homemade things. We are the Belmont bees! We are called that because our school logo is like that and we like bees. We play at the structure, we grow plants in the garden, and we do sports in the field. Our class is very talented , smart and funny. I am from books. I love to go to the school library. There are lots of old books and lots of new books. I love reading novels and comic books. My favourite novel is from The Chronicles of Narnia. “The lion, the witch and the wardrobe” shows adventure, bravery and kindness. My favourite comic book is Smile, because it talks about feelings and school. I love to read lots of books because they make me very mature, smart, and confident. I am from the Tugado family. We have a grayish and greenish house that’s fit for me and my small family. We are a family of 4. Chelsea, (my sister), my Mom, my Dad and me, Chloe. We are a happy family. We are respectful and thoughtful towards others. We laugh when we joke around. We play board games and have movie nights. We eat dinner and talk about important things. We learn from one another, and we love each other.
