A home is a place where you are happy A safe place to stay with your Mom and Pappi You can have a house but not have a home And when you do you feel alone A house is just where you sleep A home is where you make memories to keep To find a home is to have lots of fun When memories overflow and never are done A home is where you stay with your family and friends Where fun and laughter never have ends A home is where you feel safe and just feel happy in this place Where you can just lie down and have a smile on your face Where you are an ace Never a disgrace It is harder with this pandemic called covid And it sounds like everything im saying is sugar coated But you will know when you have a home When you never feel alone A place to play with your parents and siblings All these things happen in these buildings You always are happy when you are at home When it's impossible to feel alone A special zone Where you are free to roam Your special place Your safe dome Home is where my heart will stay When ever I leave homesick i'll be Fun times all the way Playing laughing everyday Home is where you sleep and where you eat Your special place right down the street Where you have lots of fun and laugh and play You can do this everyday Where you spend your time with people you love Home is all of these things above Everyone needs a home No one should feel alone Home means to me where your heart stays Where you spend your days Where you live, Home is where the heart is
