The Times
When I come home from school every day
I come home to the same old home
with its wooden and rusty old counters
and it's beat up couch that looks like a bunch of old cushions sown together.
And then, I think to myself,
it's time for new.
And it was time for new.
so we take out the old,
and put in the new, and it looks so new, but then I think to myself,
I liked the old, with its cozy and warm living room,
and its old wooden table.
And maybe,
just maybe,
I wasn't ready for new.
