What Home is to Me

What Home is to Me To me home is where your family is, Family is just like a tree, your branches go in different directions, but your roots are connected. Maybe that's why they call it a family tree. Either way a home is just a house without someone to share it with, and maybe sometimes you don't realize it but just imagine your home without your family, no one to cook for you, no one to talk to. It would be very lonely. It breaks my heart thinking that some people don't have homes, some people don't have a place to sleep, a place to eat or even a place to be with the people they love. Then there are people who just have a home, no family. I find myself thinking how lucky I am and I always try to remind myself of this when I am upset with my family, because I know that lots of people aren't as fortunate as me. This is what home is to me, a place where you and your family can be together and live happily.
