A Place to Call HOME
I walk down the street and to no surprise, I see a home and it is mine.
I see a front door and so much more.
I walk in to be greeted with delight.
I go down the stairs, that filled me with fright!
The cold winter air soon replaced with warmth
I put on a blanket, I am now warm.
My dog comes to greet me.
He licks my face and says goodnight
I go up to my bed for it is now night.
I wish everybody had a home like mine.
