Home

A home can be so many different things for different people, I haven't quite thought about what my home is at the moment. But what's the difference between a home and a house? That got me thinking, what is a home? What is a house? I think it can be anything where you feel welcome, and just feel comfortable with everything/everyone around you. While a house is just a building or somewhere you live. A lot of people have been telling me what a home is to them, a lot of the answers were their background, family, something they enjoy, or just something that makes them happy. what's the difference? I have been thinking throughout the day about a home and a house and what both of them contain. A home can possibly be a house to some people but if there was a difference I think it's that a house isn't something that is special to you because it's just a building and it doesn't have that much of a backstory. A home is something that is very special to people and has a lot of meaning to it and it's not just a certain building you live in, it can be anything special and welcoming to you. After writing this and learning more about where i come from and more about my home, I now have a good idea of what a home is to me/what my home is. I live with 4 other family members. I am now realizing how good I feel when I am with my family. There are a lot of things in my house that can make a home to me. Keep in mind that no matter where you are, you will always have a home in you.
