Happiness is Home

Home means everything to me. Home is peaceful, calm and free where I can express myself. Home is a place where I enjoy my life with family and friends. Growing up in my home gives me good memories like birthday parties and fun playdates. There are special moments when I baked with my mom and dad for the very first time. When I am not at home for a long time, I feel home sick. I feel safe in my home as it is a place where my parents protect me and no stranger can come in. Home is a place where I am forgiven, if I do something wrong. Home allows me to try new things and learn when I am with my parents. I feel encouraged at home, when I feel like I can’t do a task. In a joint family home, there are a lot of family members around us where I can learn from grandparents about their culture. I am respected and accepted for what I am in my home. A house is a shelter with walls and bricks, while a home is a place where you live with your loved ones and care for each other. Home is where happiness is.
