What Home Means to Me

Many people have different reasons for what home means to them. These are my reasons for what home means to me. About 2,000 years ago, Gaius Plinius Secundus (Pliny) said “Home Is Where The Heart Is” . This phrase means no matter where you are in the world home will always be where your loved ones are or where you feel safe and happy. To me home means a safe, warm, and loving place where memories stay forever and ever no matter where you are. In my home my family’s laughter and love makes our home special. My home is somewhere where I have fallen down but have learned to get back up knowing everything will be ok. My home is open to friends and family. It is important to have a home to live in because you want to feel safe and happy and where you make new memories that will stay with you forever . Where your kids can giggle and be cheerful knowing that they have a roof over their heads to protect them as they grow. When you first see your home I believe you should feel happy and excited to move into it. These are my reasons for what home means to me.
