Why Home Makes Me Smile!!

So I thought home meant a few walls some concrete and furniture, but it isn’t. I once lived in Vancouver for half my life but when we moved to Comox I didn’t like it at first. I got used to it and it took me a long time to finally admit Comox is my home. Then I thought again Comox is not my only home so is Vancouver, Hornby, Comox, and my family. Wherever I live it doesn’t matter as long as I’m with my family. home is a nice dinner cooking on he stove hearing my brothers loud mouth eating his food , of course my dads dad jokes and a lot of shouting. But I get away from all the drama, shouting, and crying and go outside and look at the stars. Its my favorite thing to do it makes me feel like I have a place in this world. Wherever I am I can always call something somewhere a home. I was 2 years old when my brother was born he was born in our basement I was up stairs with my Auntie Sara and that day I really knew what home meant to me and why it makes me smile. The answer is family, and it’s always going to be family.
