My Home to Me

Home is where I can be protected from a storm. For the fireplace will keep me warm. To look at the place where I’ve grown. Such a marvelous sight to know. To see many without homes. Is what makes me sad the most. To see everyone in a home. Happiness from coast to coast.. Home is a place where I feel safe when I sleep It’s a safe place where I can go to weep. I feel lucky to have my own space Where nothing is out of place. The love I feel at home is like a warm hug. Home is soft like a rug. Be fortunate to have a home. Because you don’t have to roam.
