What Home Means to Me: A Poem
Home is a place where you can chill
Where my mom has food on the table
Burgers, fries, and poutine too
Eating the food is just what I do
Home is a cozy bed that feels like a snuggle
Where your parents guard me while I sleep
and where I fall into a sleep deep
i'm so comfortable I don't take a peak
Home is happiness
It sounds like laughing
Where you can kick your feet up
Where you can relax with your little pup
Home is special
It tastes like poutine on a saturday night
Where people comfort me when I cry
And where it hurts to say goodbye
Home is cozy of pillows
It smells like poutine
Where a cat is cuddling you
And where people care about you
Home is a place of happiness.
