What Is Home?

What Is Home? When I think of home, I don’t think of a house. Not walls and a roof. Home is somewhere that you have people you know and love. It’s personalized. It could be a tent, or an apartment, or outside, or a house, as long as it’s made yours. A home has your memories. Pictures, or objects that hold something special, something amazing. A home is where your favourite thing or person is. Whether that's your soft and cozy comforter on your bed, or your electronics, or even maybe a photo of a loved one. Home is where you learn hard lessons. Important lessons. You learn how to get up when you fall down or help someone else up when they fall down. You learn things that you should already know like sliding down the stairs isn’t a good idea. Learning things that you don’t learn in school mostly happens in the comfort of your own home. Everybody deserves a home.
