What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where you can be loved. A place where you are cared for. Home is a place where you feel comfortable. A place made within four walls and a door. My home is where I feel like myself. Where I have fun with friends and family. My home is where I celebrate holidays. Where I have some space to relax and be me. Right now, my home is also my school. A safe place for me to learn and grow. Right now, my home is a place to connect with others. A safe place for me to explore and let go. This past year has been very tough. COVID has been bringing us down. This year we need to rise up. By staying safe in our homes to lockdown. I am grateful for safety and a roof over my head. I know that is not the case for all. I wish everyone could feel what I feel everyday. Everyone deserves to feel warm and dry from the snow fall.
