My Home

A home is a place loud with laughter and fun And a quiet place to rest when the day is done. A home is a safe place where I can express my feelings I do so with art and music, It provides me with healing. A home is a place where family and friends gather To eat delicious food and happily chit chatter. A home is a place where I’m shown love and affection A place that will always be my protection A home is a place where my siblings and I play Where we get along and enjoy the day. A home is a place I live with my Mom and step Dad They give me comfort and for that I'm glad. A home is not just a place where I eat and sleep A home is full of cherished memories I will forever keep Any house can make a home just fine I wish everyone had a home like mine.
