Everyone deserves a home

Everyone deserves a home To me my house is a very special place. Living there with my family makes it a home and that is even better. My home is a welcoming place where I feel safe, comfortable and loved. I have made lots of memories in my home with family and friends. As I look around my home I see things that make it unique such as pictures of my family hanging on the walls. In these pictures there are lots of memories that are from our experiences and adventures. My bedroom is full of my belongings that show who I am and what my interests are. It is a place where I am most comfortable. I feel safe in my home because my parents protect me, we have locks on our doors and we live in a safe community. I am grateful for my home and the things that are in it, not just my belongings but things like heat, air conditioning, indoor plumbing and hydro. Homes are a place to have traditions. In my home we eat together as a family, we all take turns helping clean up, we celebrate holidays together with family and friends. I think everyone deserves to have a home. A place of their own in the world, a place to feel safe and comfortable, and to be yourself.
