This is my home...

My home gives me warmth, not only from the fireplace but from the love. It’s more than the floor, the walls, and the roof above. When we get a big dump of Kootenay snow, Me and my brother put on our gear and go. I hear my mom call us for dinner, I race to the door, We sit around the table and have a feast for four. When I lie in my bed and gaze at the stars, I can hear my family sleeping close, not far. I am so lucky to have a stable home, Some people are forced to live outside and roam. I wish everyone had a safe place to be, And a family to come home to, just like me.
