A Home is Where

House or home, home or house? I’ll go with home because a house is a home with no memories, no happiness, no love and no emotion. I could go on and on but then I wouldn’t get to my point, that this is a house not a home. So, like we know a house is bland, but a home is manned. A home is where you can be your self make mistakes and not be scared, you can share. You can have ideas and be creative. A home is where you can feel safe you can trust and be trusted. You can be confident that people appreciate and care for you. That you’ll come home to hugs and food, to joy and hope. To a soft chatter. To have some one say some thing you’ve heard 1,000 times but never get tired of hearing some thing like I love you. To know that your family will support you with you dreams and ambitions, and make you feel happy. To make extraordinary memories together. Maybe an animal that you really love with fluffy or silky furry and a muffled purr or bellow. Day after day I count my blessings that I have a home of my own. To cry and to weep to live and to love. So, a home is where in sad and mad. In excitement and joy. Where you are loved.
