What Home Means to Me

Home means that there is love and hope in the air. That you're nice and happy but at times maybe not happy, maybe sad. Home is helping others. That you are together with your family laughing and crying. Being happy with what you have because family is what matters most. Home is having fun with each other outside or maybe inside. Forgiving and forgetting cozy and warm, fun in the summer, outside on bikes, playing sports, winter snowball fights and sliding. All fun things to do with your family. It’s family to me that makes the best home over all things. Parents helping their kids with school, Math, art and many more school activities. New years or Canada Day fireworks are always more fun with family. Home also doesn't just mean a house it can be an apartment, cabin. A home is anywhere you make it. If you have pets to have fun with like, a dog, cat, fish, hamster, that is home. Reading bedtime stories for the little ones and older kids or even for adults. Home is the simple things in life like the joy of your kids, grandkids or even no kids if that makes you happy. Playing with toys.great memories, cooking, playing, sports, dressing up with older and younger siblings, having good times and bad times. Arts and crafts together. Kids going to school and adults get their time together. But in the end, for me, it's the hope, love and happiness that is the most important thing in the world, and that doesn't mean no sadness, is happiness. It's life together that is the best. but home doesn't mean having toys and lots of money, it means love, hope, compassion. Be happy, be loved, be nice, be compassionate, be you and nobody else.
