What Home Means To Me

A home is not just a building, made from wood, bricks and cement, a home is where you spend part of your life in. Where you share love and memories with your family. Where you can be yourself. A home can be anywhere, a boat, an apartment, a tent, an airplane and even in a box or on the street or in a jungle, because you and your family make it a home. It is somewhere where you feel comfortable and where you want to be. It is somewhere where you feel loved and cared about. Did you know you can have more than 1 home! Your probably thinking « if someone has more than one house, they are probably rich », but that is where your wrong, you can have more than one home because anywhere can be your home! For example, I have 2 homes, one in Canada, Ontario and another in Colombia, Bogotá. No, I do not have two houses, but I consider my grandparents' house my home. I feel like it is my home there because they make me feel comfortable, I can be myself there, I share lots of love, care, and memories there and my family is there. So now that you know what the true meaning of home is for me, it might be the same for you and you might even have more than one home! So, when you read this paragraph, think about what home means to you!
