What Home means 2 me

Home To me home is where you spend a lot of your time growing as a person. When I come home I look forward to seeing my awesome sister who treats me as if her life depended on it. My mom who is in her room scrapbooking using pictures and saving memories from our life as a family. My dad works and helps me with school. I am so grateful of him because he is my own hockey coach and I've learned alot from him. My 3 year old cat named Wicket, like the ewok from Star Wars eats some stuff he should not eat. When I come home I smell the delicious dinner almost ready to eat. When I come home there are always surprises with plenty of daily stuff waiting for me at home. When I am finally home after a long day of fun or work at school. I feel the warm air that feels like it's a sauna from the fireplace blow into my face as I head to my room where I spend my time. When I leave my home, I say goodbye to my family and tell them when I will be home and why I'm leaving. There are billions of people in the world that don’t have a safe place to spend their lives and would not even imagine having what we have. I feel even more lucky than I’ve ever felt in my entire life because I have a safe and happy home where I feel loved and cared for every minute of my life. When I come home I feel welcome because everyone knows who I am and why I am there. That is what Home means to me
