Every Home Is Different

Every home is different. Some are small, some are big. Some have 2 floors, some have an attic, and some have a basement. For me, home is a great place to be. When it’s winter, I love sitting on the couch drinking hot chocolate with the fireplace on. When it’s summer, I love playing in the sprinkler. It’s a place where I feel safe, with my family who loves me and with my cats who love me too. I feel like home is a safe place to be. I know no matter what, my family will always love me. Every home has different people and things inside them. Everyone has memories in their home. My memories with my family are special to me. Playing board games with parents, cooking dinner with my mum, and sleeping with my cat at night. Every memory in my home is cherished. For others, home is not always the happiest place to be. Often, we don't think about how some people are living on the streets. I always try to be thankful for what I have. I have a home with two parents who love me and tuck me in at night. But for the people living on the streets, some nights they don’t even have enough food to eat. I hope that someday everybody can have memories with their family in a warm and happy home. When you see someone in need don’t just brush it off, show care and respect to those people. That might only be a little thing to you but it can make a real difference to someone else. However, even though every home might look different, there’s one thing that’s the same inside - there will always be someone who loves you.
