What is a home?

What is a home? A home is not a house, or an apartment. It is a place where you feel safe, and comfortable. Nothing feels better than being at home. Nobody can take your home away from you, no matter how hard they try. It is just the best place ever. A house is a building, it has nothing special about it. A home is very different from that. A house shelters you from the rain and the cold, but a home shelters you from the scariness and sadness of the outside world. A house is just a place, it is not a home. A home can be IN a house, but it is much more than that. A house is very important, but a home is even more. A home can be anywhere because it doesn’t have to be a specific place. It is anywhere that you feel like you belong. Nobody can take your home away because it is not a thing to be stolen, it’s a spirit. No matter what, you will always have your home, the place where you belong. It is one of the most amazing things in your life. A home has a feeling, and that’s what makes it so special. A home is where you laugh, where you love, and where you are loved. It is where your family is, whether it’s your real family, or just close friends. Your home is where you can go to when you’re sad, mad, or if you just need a place to get away from the world. Everybody has a home, even if they don’t know it. A home can be anywhere or anything, it is amazing. My home is my safe place, and it is my favourite place in the whole wide world
