What does my home mean to me?

What does my home mean to me? My home means a place where I can feel safe and secure, because I know my family is there to protect me. A place where I feel loved by everyone one around me, my family and friends and my pets. A place where I can share laughter with everyone around me. And a place where I can be myself. Safe, my home is a safe place because my home shelters me and my family from the weather outside. My home keeps me and my family warm no matter how cold it is outside and cool no matter how hot it is outside. My home gives me and my family a place to eat together. My home lets me and my family cook together. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do with my family because it allows me to spend time with my family. My home is where I can feel loved because I am surrounded by all the people that I love, my family and my pets. I feel loved when I watch movies with my family especially funny movies, like Home Alone. I feel loved when we celebrate Christmas, Easter and Halloween because we can celebrate together and have lots of fun together. My home is made of bricks, walls, doors and windows and a roof. All of that stuff is not what makes a house a home. What makes a house a home is the people in it, and the way you spend your time in it. And the way you make it your own by decorating it and filing it with lots of love. It doesn’t matter how big your house is or how cool your house is, all that matters is how you make it a home, all the people inside your home, the way you make your home your own. All the memories, and all the laughter shared Inside. That’s what makes a house a home.
