Welcome Home

Welcome Home What has a roof, and bordered with walls, To protect you from the porous rain that falls, Filled with family and friends from home, “Welcome home!” they said in such a nice tone. Your sons and daughters pack their backpacks, After they left, you kick back and relax, When they came home, they didn’t roam, “Hi Dad!” they said. You said, “Welcome home.” For your birthday, you wanted an iPhone, Nowadays, people want a new MacBook Chrome, I really don’t know that because of my poem, One thing I do know is that not everyone has a home, This is the purpose of fundraisers and money, So people could buy things that are lovely, That is not the purpose of so dear love, Love is love and all of above. Furniture and laps are not all, The feelings of home are inside the walls, Home for Humanity is not a fake, It wants to help people that are at sake. When people buy their first home, It is like a new life, Don’t we want that to happen to everyone, That kindness in sight? Home is much different than a house, A home is filled with glee, We all want homes for humanity That’s true for my class and me. Everyone needs a home, The end of this poem says, “Welcome Home.”
