Home

Whenever I walk into my home, there’s this feeling I get. It’s a good feeling! It’s a warm hug the minute I open the door. So many memories come crawling back! This is the place I grew up in! This is the place where I feel safe and loved. Home is where I cherished many memories! At home I can be myself and fool around. I can have my friends over and never forget any of the fun I had. Unfortunately though, home is not always where the happy memories are. There can be sad memories too. At home I learn that one day I’ll grow up. I’ll move out. I’ll keep the memories in my heart and maybe shed some tears. One day when I live in my own apartment, I will hop in my car and drive to my home. When I visit my home I will open the door and the minute that I open that door I will remember everything I did here. When I leave, I won’t forget it. I remember all the times I had played grocery store in my living room, the times I played tag running through the halls and the times I hurt myself. The different times and feelings never could’ve been better. Home is not a place, it’s a feeling.
