My definition of home.

My home is my childhood I grew where I stood Full of memories, Good and bad But because of my home I have became The girl I am today. My home can be a safe place to rest My brother and I wouldn’t be able to exist Without our home. With no place to sleep or eat we Wouldn’t be able to survive. Some people don’t have what I have A home to live in They may just have a small house That can fit some but not all On a cold night, they might not be warm Or on a rainy day, they might not have the shelter they need But I’m writing these words To give a special family a special something to match A new home for all their needs With enough entries to build a home A lucky family can become A family that has a little more room For all their stuff This family will be a little more happy With a little more room to live More room for better memories Maybe even a childhood Just like me So write a poem to build a home And a family will thank you Some day Because a home will mean more to them than you will understand.
