What a Home Means to Me

Hi, my name is Emma MacDonald, I'm in grade 5 and I live in a little cozy home. I live with my family, my brother Nathan and my sister Livia, my mom and my dad. I have a little kitty named Nelly. She is so cute. Most people think that a home is simply a building where you live, but I think it's more than that. It's a place of love. When I open the door, I feel safe, it's where I feel the most like myself. Everyone should have a chance to have a home, even if it's a little one. My favourite thing is watching movies in winter, in the warm living room with buttery popcorn. My favorite thing is sharing it with people I love. When I'm older I want to be an interior designer and I would love to help people that can't use their creativity. I'm hoping to create the feel that I get in my home into others, by designing. I think that Habitat for Humanity is a really good idea. Emma,

Emma
