On the outside it looks like a house Walls Roof And foundation It looks so plain My home is more than simple, it’s a beautiful creation My home is strong with love With trust With kindness It’s one of the things I cherish most It’s where I’ve learned to forgive To love and to be loved My home is warm with happiness My family is there when I need a hug Their voices of joy are more powerful than the storm inside me They make a smile grow onto my face There is only one thing that is brighter than the sun that shines It’s all the memories that will never fly away They will be here in my heart There they will stay My home is like no other and cannot be replaced It’s full of the people that without, my life would be incomplete Their laughter ecoys around me One of the happiest noises on the earth It fills me up Love abound Everybody needs a home of their own A place to love Somewhere to go A place to be safe To hope To live Everybody needs somewhere to call their own A home
