What Home Means To Me

What Home Means To Me A house is a house With four walls and a ceiling A place to stay And a bed to lay A dining room is a dining room Where you eat your food And When you're finished you might get a sweet treat. A kitchen is a kitchen where you make and bake things to eat Sometimes you make a dessert or you may make a yummy meal It’s not just a stove and oven it is my very own bakery A living room is a living room where you can talk And socialize with friends and family You can watch TV or play a board game A basement is a basement where you store your stuff And you huff and puff while making piles of stuff A bedroom is a bedroom where you can sleep while not making a peep You enjoy your toys and spread your joy A home is a place you can stay without being sad Your surrounded by loved ones and loved ones are with you Home is a place you share memories Home is a place you make memories You can be free to talk Home is a place I fight with my siblings Home is a place I play with my siblings Home is safe Home is great And that is what home means to me
