Home is a Strong Word

A house is a place that you will see, but a home is a place for you and me. Houses may have stuff, but a home is full of love. It's also so much more than what's above. You may have money. It doesn't buy you happiness. I like to have a family that will give me a hug and a kiss. That's what a home means to me but there's so much more that you should see. At home you should feel safe. You should also have faith. At home you should not scream and shout. At home you should let your feelings out. At home you should make memories. You should love your family for centuries. Moving forward, looking ahead, but save the past. It's not to dread. You may make mistakes a lot of times, but remember your smile really shines. You may think other houses are bigger or better and with that I'd like to say, go think about what makes your home special each and every day. So whoever you are the tall and the small. It may not be for you but for me, home is the first place I learned to walk or crawl, you see? So when you feel down in the dumps or scared, think of a place in your home. It's okay. You're safe there. Home is a strong word. So strong it will never break. Going places, seeing things, memories to make. You may want to sail the ocean or set sea, but at home there's no place I'd rather be.
