The special place that I call home
I turn the key to open the door to you.
It's just four brick walls and a shingled roof but to me it is so much more.
It is where my Wonderful life started. It is where I first had fun!
It's comforting, and it feels like I am loved and appreciated.
I learned how to ride a bike here.
The first time I tried riding a bike,I fell and scraped my leg.
My Mom got me a band-aid and got me an ice pack. Everyone in my family helped me.
It's where I can be myself and not someone else. It is where I made my first best friend I ever had.
I have learned to get up when I have fallen down. Memories that are good and bad were in the place I call home.
Every time I open that door I feel all of this. I think that everyone should have the same feeling that I do.
When they open their door to their home. I hope that they feel the same way I do.
