What home means to me

Home is more than a roof over your head. It's kind of like a box of memories. You love, laugh, and listen to the people around you. The warmth of your house is one you will always have in your heart. A home is where it all begins, you learn to forgive, trust and grow independently. For some people that's not the case. The people that you pass by when you're out for a run. Yep im talking about the homeless. They see you and hear you, but do you see them. Even if it's 25 cents or a dollar you can be the one to put a smile on someone's face. Just imagine having nowhere to go when you feel sad. Or when you feel cold. I hope I can help a family feel safe and make sure that they are not worried about what's going to happen next. Everybody deserves a loving family and a home. Even if it's a small donation you can help build a home for a family in need. You don't need a huge message to tell people that you care. Even if you don't have a donation you can give right this second, just take a moment to think. It could be a simple ‘Hi’ or even a wave. Just show them that we care, and that anything is possible with a little help!
