The Meaning of a Lovely Home

Home, a place where I feel comforted and loved. Each day I wake up to a warm ray of sunlight hitting my face, and the pungent smell of toast and eggs being cooked fill my nose as I get up. I stretch, make my bed and start walking. Walking, the first thing I learned in life, the feeling of falling down while trying to balance and the tears of sorrow when you collapse. I go downstairs to be greeted by a big smile on my mom’s face. “Good morning,” I say as I smile. Smiling, an action to show affection and warmth towards someone you love. I look around to see two big dogs rapidly approaching me. I remember exactly when these two were little puppies. I adore my family, they taught me how to love and other important things I need to know in life. That is the meaning of home to me.
