Endless Journeys of Home
I feel an adventure stirring up inside
It’s more of my home than a place to hide
A home is a home, there’s nowhere to hide
Just open the door to walk inside.
Everyone deserves a house for a home
But not everyone can afford a stay or even a comb.
A house whether big or small
It’s one of a kind that should fit all
A house is to protect and stay
No matter what occurs today
Your home is the place where you have hard times
But it’s okay, you’ll reach it when you keep on climb
My family is what holds the love to our home
It’s more than just the love that is shone
Some days are times to say goodbye
Maybe once or twice you might as well cry
Just remember that the end is just the beginning
Of a whole new journey that surely is waiting
Endings may not be always the worst
But for sure sometimes tears will just burst
Homeless people are still very here
No space to sleep until the snow clears
It’s crucial to help as soon as it’s safer again
Because now with the virus we’re forbidden to touch outside people or friends
Now a house is a house, a place inside I can be
Living with my family to keep company and feel free!
