Home, Sweet Home

What is home? Well, to me, it’s a place where I can be myself. It’s a place where I can feel safe. It’s a place where my cat can feel safe too. It’s a place where I can eat pizza and watch TV in the middle of the night! It’s the smell of my mom’s cooking food (and sometimes burning food!) My home is more than just a building with walls and windows, it’s where I can spend time with my loving family and do fun things with them. Having a home brings so much happiness to people all around the world, I really wish the homeless people could have one too. To have a roof over their head, to have a cozy bed, to have blankets and pillows and a couch, to have a warm fireplace! A home doesn’t have to be the coziest, or the biggest or even the homiest to be one, it just has to feel like home to be one. It is a true gift.
