What Home Means to Me

As soon as I ride my bike up the driveway, I feel happy that I am home. I see my hockey net and my basketball net, but best of all I see my dog Guinness. I think he is happy to see me because when I walk in the door, he always has his bone to drop at my feet. I feel home. Home smells good like cookies and sweets, Like vanilla and chocolate and cinnamon treats. When I look around my home I see pictures of family. I am reminded of how lucky I am to have people, who support me and help me learn from my mistakes. Most important of all people who love me. Home smells good like cookies and sweets, Like vanilla and chocolate and cinnamon treats. The difference between my house and my home? My house is just four walls with a roof. My home is a place I feel safe and full of love and a place where I can be myself. I Feel Home.
