My Amazing Home

Home is where I feel safe because my family is with me. When I feel sad, I have my pets to cheer me up. I am very very thankful to have a family and a shelter. Some people may not like to stay at home because they have mean parents. But for me, home is a place to relax, calm down, celebrate, and the place to make my favorite memories. Other people have great big and fancy houses. My house is not big or fancy. Home is not about how big or how expensive it is, it’s about how it makes you feel. My house makes me feel safe, cozy, and warm. In my house I have a kind mom, a funny dad, a smart sister, an energetic puppy, a calm dog, a playful kitten and a cuddly cat. My household is my favorite place to make the best memories. The thing that makes a home a favorite place is your family. My parents were not born where I was, but it does not matter. Home is not just a building it is a special place where I can feel secure. Everyone can call a home something different. In my language japanese you say home like ‘’oh oo chee’’. It may sound weird to you, but to me it means home or house. Excitingly every day I walk home ready to see my family. Usually I only see my dad before or after supper. You may not have the same traditions as me or a friend. My tradition is on march 3 there is a thing called girls fectibal. On this day we celebrate the event of putting up traditional dolls. Eat very delicious food and enjoy the holiday and there are many dolls.So this is how I feel.
