What Home Means To Me
What home means to me!
H is for Happiness
Be kind whenever possible. When someone says “home” it puts a smile on my face. The first thing that comes to mind is warmth, and everyone should have warmth in their lives. Home is where you expect happiness and laughter.
Everyone should be happy with what they have even if they don't have much. Home to me, is the happiest place on earth. I have the best family, they're so kind and loving. I believe there is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved. The most important thing is to enjoy your life, especially the little things. Do what makes your soul shine!
O is for Open
My home is open to ideas; my family is kind and always open to talking things through and hearing what everyone has to say. My family is always open to loving and accepting me, they don't care if I don't brush my hair, they think I'm beautiful just the way I am.
They were always open to talking when I was sad or mad.
An open heart is an open mind. Don't be afraid to be open minded.
M is for Memories
As your family grows you create more and more memories. They could be good or bad but you will always be part of them. Bad memories could also be good in some way, for instance, if someone passed away, your family would be there to love and take care of you. The memories of the person who passed will always be with you. When you are going through rough times just think about the happy memories you have with your family, close your eyes and take a second and just put yourself in that moment of good memories. This will make yourself feel better. Memories are to remind us of things that we have done before. Our special friends and loved ones, some we’ll never see again. But memories were made to be shared, with people we love and care about even long after they've gone to heaven.
So are memories such a good thing when sometimes they cause you so much pain? When they remind you of places and loved ones you will never see again? The only thing you should think of is the good memories you've had with your family, friends or loved ones.
E is for Effortless
With the right person you don't have to work so hard to be happy, it just happens effortlessly. When you get home from work or from school or anything, you feel relaxed and you feel like you can let go and take a deep breath. You don't have to be on show, or animated. You can just be you. If you have to constantly put in the effort to be friends with someone, that friendship isn't worth it. When you get home all you want to do is lay down and relax, you feel effortless.
