Meaning of Home by Westin J Thibodeau
Home is a place to stay safe where there is love in the air. Home is also a place to sleep, eat, and have family time.
When I open the door I get a nice warm welcome from my family. Home is a place to play with siblings and my parents.
When I get in bed my parents read me a fun book and put me to sleep.
When I wake up and hug my parents.
I laugh with my family and friends.
But don’t forget about the people that don’t have a home of their own.
Home for me is play-fighting with my brother Mayer and having fun together.
The meaning of home, for me, is family and friends.
Imagine you are in your bed, warm and comfortable, with warm milk, going to sleep with your parents rubbing your back.
Have you thought about the people that don’t have a home to call their own?
Home to me is family and happiness and to be warm and comfortable.
Your house is not a home without memories. A home keeps you safe. A home gives warmth and family and friends. By having a home you can feel safe.
Imagine being in your bed with hot cocoa going to sleep at home.
But don’t take your home for granted, because some people don’t have a home.
Home to me means love and happiness and friendship and so much more.
Think of how lucky you are to have a home and remember the people that don’t have a home of their own.
